Mercy Found Link Up - My Week in Review

Don't assume your husband just knows to take the Costco chicken

Mercy Found

I've been a very lazy blogger lately. Actually, I think it sounds better to say I've been a really busy wife, mom, and daughter. Yea, I'm going with that. 

But I had to make time today share about an amazing new ministry, Mercy Found! This new ministry gets it name from Hosea 14:3b - In you, the orphan finds mercy. Don't you just love that name? 

The founders are 3 adoptive moms with passion for orphans and adoption!

Mercy Found plans to support adoptive families through adoption matching grants and community support.  LOVE IT!

Catching Up!

I pulled up my blog a few minutes ago to grab the link for my fundraising page for a linky another adoptive mama is doing on her blog. I can't believe I haven't posted since May! I knew time was speeding by, but, WOW!

I hate that I've missed all these months, as I was trying to keep the blog up as a scrapbook of sorts.  Maybe one day.... when I have some extra time... :) .... I'll go back an fill in the gap! Just in case that doesn't happen, I thought I'd hit just a couple of the highlights over the last 6 months!

We celebrated 5 years with our precious boy, Thomas!

And 2 years with our princess, Ellie!

We went on a FREE week long trip to the beach in Florida courtesy of a travel gift card from Thirty-One!

We've been enjoying the time we get to spend with Jack and his girlfriend, Heather, who is beautiful inside and out!

And finding opportunities for the little boys to work on their fishing skills

And .... drum roll, please.... we've watched Ellie's hair grow ever so slowly from this

And, yes. We're still hiding the scissors!

Well...

it's growing...

but even with completely hacked up by kid fiskars hair...
