The weather cooperated and warmed up enough in the afternoon for the kids to play in the water. Thomas had his shoes off first and went out searching for the perfect rock.
Savannah found her perfect rock.
We went on some short hikes and found a couple of swinging bridges.
If you have little boys, you know what they do when they cross a swinging bridge. They jump! They had all the girls, including me, screaming. Thus the reason I didn't get any photos of them jumping. I needed both hands to hang on with!
I did get everyone to stand still long enough to get this one. Sure wish Jack was in it!
The kids loved the water and the hikes, but this trip the biggest hit was the playground near our cabin. It was very old, metal, and HIGH! They LOVED it!
Savannah went down the slide with Ellie no less than 100 times.
Finally she was ready to do it on her own.
Here's Will contemplating the fire poll...
And Thomas contemplating the fire poll....
And Rich giving fire poll instructions...
:)
And a playground wouldn't be complete if Ellie didn't get to swing.
I so love play time with my family. :)
